Rest Fest at North 2 Shore
Presented by So Fresh Fest, Rest Fest is a free and family friendly wellness festival offering activations to relax your nervous system and opportunities for fun and play.
On the last day of North 2 Shore - Newark, Rest Fest emerges as much-needed pause away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Attendees will journey through guided meditation, reiki, journaling, restorative yoga, breathwork, stress-reduction strategies, tea making, sound baths, and holistic health practices that promise to align body, mind, and spirit.
Rest Fest will be hosted in the world class Newark Museum of Art and will culminate in a high vibrational dance party where participants will be invited to release their stress, move their bodies and revel in the spirit of fun and community.
The day will include Newark-based food, drinks, and merchandise vendors. All workshops and activities will be led by local practitioners.
Rest Fest is produced by Marcy DePina and Lauren LeBeaux, two pillars of the Newark community and creators of So Fresh Fest. They are committed to creating a space for community care that not only celebrates rest, mindfulness and healing but provides tools to integrate them into our daily lives.
